ANTH 385 — Sex, Science and Culture

Interdisciplinary introduction to the study of human sexuality, scientific theories of sexuality and historical and cultural contexts of sexual acts, desires, relations and identities. Topics include: legacies of sexology, eugenics, sexuality and identity, sex in nature, gender and colonialism, sexual-economic exchange, marriage, monogamy.
