BIEN 524 — Climate Change and Health
Fundamentals of atmospheric science in the context of climate change including overview of thermodynamic variables, climate patterns, and development and use of climate models. Fundamentals of infectious disease modelling including compartmental models for directly transmitted infections, seasonal infections, vector-borne infections, and infections with reservoirs. Fundamentals of epidemiology including causal inference, study design, exposure assessments, and intervention evaluation.
