EDGC 423 — Human Knowledge Claims and Education

Introduction to the evolving attitudes of the sciences and social sciences to knowledge, and how such emerging claims impact education in terms of teaching and research. Specific focus on the different methods that can be employed for understanding both the physical and human world, with particular attention on the consequences of such approaches on knowing and acting in social reality.
