Topics may include (i) the rise and development of the IOW global economy; (ii) The Swahili Civilisation and the IOW; (iii) Islam and the IOW; (iv) Imperialism in the IOW; (v) IOW Slavery and Slave Trades; (vi) History of Madagascar.
