LAWG 415 — Evidence (Civil Matters)
Basic principles of evidence as applied and developed in the context of the civil process in all jurisdictions in Canada. Topics include: burden and standard of proof; relevance; the different kinds of evidence, i.e. documentary evidence; testimonial evidence (lay and opinion evidence), presumptions, admissions and real evidence; the principal rules of admissibility, including the hearsay rule and its exceptions.
