MIME 317 — Analytical and Characterization Techniques
Bulk, surface and microanalytical techniques for materials characterization. Bulk analysis: spectrophotometry using UV, visible, flame and atomic absorption, x-ray diffraction and x-ray fluorescence. Surface and microanalysis: infrared spectroscopy, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, Auger electron and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
