MUCT 235 — Vocal Techniques

Development of basic singing skills through group voice lessons, lectures, and Choral Lab performances. Emphasis will be on: text production, breathing, projection, clarity of vowels and consonants, the International Phonetic Alphabet, and definition of voice categories. Simple diagnostic teaching skills will be developed through observation of group voice lessons.
