Jazz composition based on the stylistic concepts of leading jazz composers. Development of a personal and creative compositional style and of control of factors such as: rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic continuity, vertical modal, and linear modal harmony, polychordal techniques, and non-functional harmonic concepts.
